About the Site

18K English is a bilingual (English/Chinese) learning resource site built for students, parents, and self-learners in Taiwan — grammar guides, vocabulary lists, worksheets, and exam prep, written English-first with Traditional Chinese support throughout.

A Large Returning Audience, Plus a Growing Organic Layer

The 13,464 monthly sessions are mostly direct traffic — students and parents who’ve bookmarked specific worksheets and study pages and return to them directly, the same pattern you’d expect from an active learning resource. That’s not the story this case study tracks.

What we’re tracking is the organic layer on top: sessions from people finding the site fresh via Google. That number was 75 in March 2026, and had grown to 434 by June — a 5.8× increase in four months, including a 118% jump from May to June alone.

Bilingual Content, Bilingual Search Demand

516 articles have been published since the push began, each targeting a specific English-learning query — often in both English and Chinese search phrasing, which is exactly what the top landing pages show: CVC phonics worksheets, TOEIC vocabulary, and customer-service English all rank for both English and Traditional Chinese search terms.

That bilingual targeting effectively doubles the addressable keyword universe compared to an English-only competitor, which is a structural advantage as the organic curve continues to compound month over month.
